What I did
I monitored the demo build and handled technical problems quickly enough to keep the showcase moving.
I invited attendees to play, explained the controls, and guided them through the demo.
I moved between booth setup, media conversations, observation notes, and character cosplay.
I recorded feedback along with enough context to understand it later.
I worked across the development, design, art, and marketing teams during the three-day showcase.
What happened
We ran many live playtests and spoke with media throughout the event. For me, the bigger outcome was learning how different the game felt when I had to explain it repeatedly, clearly, and in a noisy room.
Field notes
I kept switching between build stability, public explanation, cosplay, and feedback capture. It was the first time every part of making and presenting the game seemed to be happening at once.
I left with a much better sense of how to explain a project briefly, keep a live demo calm, and record feedback without losing the context that made it useful.
